Our Milk:

Boone Creek Creamery uses Kentucky Proud milk from Udderly Kentucky. Udderly Kentucky milk is 100% sourced from Kentucky dairy farms and 100% processed in Kentucky. The cows are all grass fed with no hormones and no antibiotics.

Boone Creek Creamery Kentucky Handmade Artisan Cheese is naturally aged cheese. Naturally aged cheese does not have lactose and should not give you a problem.

Boone Creek Creamery's naturally aged cheese will keep a very long time.

Because of the aging process, there is no bad bacteria in our cheeses and therefore, shelf stable. We vacuum seal every piece of cheese giving it the ability to last for months. You should have no problem as long as you do not let your cheese to over heat.


Green Mold is a normal part of the naturally aging cheese process. Don't throw it away, just cut off the mold and enjoy the cheese. And of course, our Blue Cheeses are totally edible. As Cheese master Ed says, "send me your moldy cheese and I will dispose of it properly."

Our best selling Scandinavian Grilling Cheese is hand grilled on booth sides, by one of our Cheese Minions, to give it that fantastic carmelize taste. Serve it up warm (heat it up in the oven or microwave) and top it with fresh fruit, pepper jelly, or one of the best tasting Blackberry Jams available in the Kentucky Proud Store.

The simple answer is nothing.

It is just coloring. Boone Creek Creamery uses Annatto, a natural plant bean that only adds color to the curds. It has absolutely not taste.

With 39 different flavors, the retail outlets have to be very selective on which flavors they carry.
